About the shop

A small shop, run by the mechanic who answers the phone.

Quality Marine Repairs is Eddie’s shop, on Edgewater Drive near Lake Fairview in Orlando. By his own count, he has more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the marine industry.

Eddie

Customers call him Eddie; one review calls him Eduardo. He runs the shop and picks up the phone. In review after review, he’s also the one who explains the problem, sends the photos, and takes the call when something goes sideways on the water.

“Eddie answered the phone and was sooo nice to me and told me to bring it in the next day, which I did, he had my boat fixed that same day… I was expecting like a week”

Skylar Sabacinski · Google review

One customer remembered something Eddie said:

“the comment that ED said that I remember was" if you go away happy then I will be able to sleep good at night!”

Victor

Victor works alongside Eddie, and reviews mention him by name for everything from T-top installs to getting a stalled boat running again.

“Victor was very professional, very knowledgeable, a great help in getting my boat going again.”

The process

How a repair goes

This is the process customers describe in their reviews, and the one the shop describes on its Google profile.

  1. Call or text

Tell us the boat, the engine and what it’s doing. Most reviews mention dealing with Eddie directly.

  2. Diagnosis and a quote

You hear what’s wrong and what it costs before work starts, with options on parts when there are options. Bringing your own parts is fine too.

  3. Updates while it’s apart

Photos and messages while the work is underway, so you see what we see.

  4. Water-tested before pickup

The boat can be run on the water before you get it back. Some customers get a video of it running.

Call or text

Tell us what the boat is doing.

Calling or texting is the fastest way onto the schedule. If you’re not sure what’s wrong, describe what it’s doing; that’s usually enough to start.
